As the seasons change, the Brenne hosts a remarkable diversity of species: Purple Herons, Whiskered Terns, Black Storks, Little Bitterns, Bluethroats, Little Grebes… not to mention a multitude of waders, ducks, and birds of prey that inhabit its ponds and its hedgerow-lined countryside.

This three-day trip is designed to maximize observation time while keeping a calm, unhurried pace, alternating early-morning outings, wildlife walks along well-marked trails, and opportunities for naturalist discussions. The itinerary includes the main birding hotspots of the Brenne Regional Nature Park: the ponds of Mer Rouge, Foucault, Massé, Gabrière, and many others depending on current conditions.

Guided by a passionate naturalist, you will be supported in both visual and sound identification of species, with ample time for prolonged viewing through a spotting scope or binoculars.
